A little bit of Green Tara Goodness
"Family Canvas"

Using a little quote, some inspiration from Shona and a lot of Green Tara goodies I created this canvas for my wall.
I started with an 8x8 canvas and added ripped up pieces of paper in 3 styles, stuck them done in a random way to cover the canvas using mod podge.
Then using an old fabric pattern tissue paper I stamped random images, torn it up and added it her and there on the canvas and down the sides and top edges using mod podge.
I used a couple of different masks and texture paste to add leaves and words over the background. then the entire thing was sprayed with several colours of glimmer mist.
Taking an Organza satin rose from Green Tara I cut the stamens of it and then coloured it with black glimmer mist and a touch of cream paint, by letting it dry naturally it left a more mottled affect on the organza petals.
A large Heirloom black flower takes center piece in the flower cluster teamed up with apple blossoms that have been inked in distress ink or sprayed blue with glimmer chalk, a black flower spray, Lace pearl flower, Rose buds, Heirloom small, roses & leaves.
Green Tara lace has been added to the bottom and coloured with glimmer mist sprays.
More Green Tara lace and mesh ribbon, along with a small heirloom flower that has been coloured with distress ink and a organza rose coloured with glimmer chalk. White leaves also coloured with distress ink. A little pen nip charm from Scrappers Garden tucked in under the flowers.
Handmade resin dragon fly from Scrappers Garden slightly inked with distress ink.
Cobweb mesh ribbon has been torn up and added around the quote and a few scattered though the flowers.
Bird cage charm from Scrappers Garden, has been lightly painted and inked in distress ink
Memory Maze chipboard key was inked with an ink pad but only lightly so that some parts remained in their raw state.
Memory Maze chipboard corner also treated the same as the key but also sprayed with a black glimmer mist
Another charm from Scrappers Garden also painted and topped with a Green Tara rose.

"Friends Canvas"

Starting with a 6x6 canvas I created a textured background using wall tape I found at the hardware and Green Tara lace.
The background was made from a row of grid tape that has been stretched then a row of Green Tar Self adhesive satin flower ribbon & 1cm lace, another row of tape this time not altered followed by another row of lace and more stretched grid tape.
Using mask and texture paste I created some dots of the top and bottom of the canvas, then just added some random texture paste here and there and spreading it out.
Spraying the canvas with 4 different colours of glimmer mist, and distress ink in brown on the edges for colour.
Then the layers start, first with a few pieces papers, a doily cut in half and also sprayed.
Then lots of yummy Green Tara flowers, the cherry blossoms have been sprayed green and the tips of the petals dipped in some left over spray that was on my craft sheet from the background.
A Memory Maze frame has had texture paste applied in some areas and then covered in gesso, sprayed with the matching colours from the background and clear embossing powder of the top to give it a bit more of a shine.

Once everything was stuck down I watered down some gesso and applied it randomly all over the canvas, flowers and embellishments.
