Its my turn over on the Megs Garden Blog today and I thought why not create another canvas using Megs Garden Papers.

"Seasons Greetings Canvas"

Instructions

I covered my 8x8" canvas with paper from the Noel & Music paper then added gold paint to the edges to blend the paper into the canvas more.

Cutting the Santa out of Santa & his compass paper I added foam tape to the back. I also cut the doves out the cut off strip from Noel & Music paper.

I cut some pieces of cheesecloth and coloured it with green spray adding it to the bottom of the canvas and building my flowers around it.

The chipboard window was painted white with touches of gold paint.

The chipboard word was painted and while still wet I dipped it in Glass glitter.

I little transparency butterfly finishes of the canvas

Fabscraps Country Living

"Country Living"

How beautiful are these new papers from Fabscraps

I have started with paper C62 008 Secret Garden 2 as my background, Ive inked the edges in a rustic brown, using a white ink pad a circle stamp & a checkers stamp I added a little texture to the background.

Matting the photo in C62 007 Secret garden 1 using the check side, then re mating it in a larger mat using a second sheet of secret garden 2, I have distressed the edges and added some doodling around the photo.

Cut a 1" strips out of secret garden 1 cut in half and flip one piece over, distress the edges and add some more doodling to the top ends tuck them in under the photo along with a paper doily, metal accent, and sticker from ST62 002 country living rounds.

Using a couple of small off cuts to create a small accent at the top of the page.

Using DC62 003 chipboard pack I have taken the shovel and rake out and painted them white then added some rusting powder leaving them to dry.

I have applied the same technique above with the title chipboard DC62 008

Finish off by adding some flowers and die cut leaves, along with a few extra embellishments.

Green Tara Share No..1

"Bright as a Flower"

This canvas is 4" x 12" I was given a pile of these canvas's from a friend, they are 12" by 4" so I have been creating gifts for friends.

Starting up one side of the canvas with have a white flower spray hidden behind an array of roses and cherry blossoms. Raffia has been tucked in behind the flowers to mimic the look of a bow along with some lace.

As we go along the cluster of flowers grows to include more cherry blossoms, apple blossoms, gardenias and an azalea.

Up the other side and again a white flower spray has been used, cherry blossoms and apple blossoms along with more Raffia and lace.

Some tulle has been tucked in behind the paper and then heated with a heat gun to make it curl and shrink.

Meg's Garden DT Share

Meg's Garden Design Team share

Today I thought I would try something a little different & decorate a couple of gift bags.

With a couple of dies and the beautiful Christmas papers from Meg's Garden they turned out way better than I expected they would. I also popped another Christmas card in as well.

.............................................................................

Starting with the card today.

Here I have used 2 different papers

Cutting the tree out of Oh Christmas Tree paper strip and popping some foam dots on the back to make it sit above the rest of the card.

From Tis Christmas Time new collection I used Christmas plaid strip to cover my card.

Cutting a few flowers out of the left over strip paper to decorate one of the corners.

Memory Maze chipboard words covered in gesso the glass glitter in gold.

I used a few of the off cuts from the papers to cover a chipboard banner and added some green tara trim.

.........................................................................................

White Gift bag.

Using the Christmas & the Tree A4 collage sheet I cut a santa out and added foam dots to the back to make him pop, I also cut some christmas fern & leaves from A berry Merry Christmas paper and popped them under the edge of santa.

Using a Tanya Leigh Designs transparency circle to help form part of the title. and added a Green Tara ribbon bow and beads to the top corner.

Lots of beautiful flowers from Green Tara

A Touch a Christmas with Megs Garden

Can you believe how fast this year has flown by with Christmas almost upon us yet again, I'm always running behind around Christmas time so thought I would get started on my Christmas goodies.

"Merry Christmas Card"

Instructions

I cut the wreath out of the A Berry Merry Christmas paper and attached some foam tap to the back of it.

I then used the rest of paper to cover my card and cut a few random leaves etc out off.

Using some gold metallic paint I dipped my finger in it and ran it around the outside edge of the card, and also painted the chipboard word and the tips of the flowers.

While the paint was still wet I sprinkled glass glitter over the chipboard word and flowers.

Attach the wreath and then decorate around it with the flowers and cut out leaves.
